Dear Friends,

Welcome to the 6th annual Battaglia's Barbeque for SickKids. Battaglia's is an independent grocery store nestled in the heart of the very caring Lorne Park community. Many there have been touched by the miracles at SickKids and collectively are determined to make a difference. Please help us reach our goal of $15,000 for this very important cause.

Battaglia's Barbeque for SickKids is no ordinary barbeque. There will be fun and festivities for guest of all ages. In addition to fabulous food off the grill, we are hosting:

• Silent Auction featuring fabulous gift baskets, art, sporting goods and events, and excursions. To make a donation to the Silent Auction, please refer to the contact information below.

• Live Non-Stop Music! Grab some food, pull up a chair, and be entertained by live bands and vocalists from our community. It doesn’t get any better than this!

• Bouncy Castles! Face Paint! Henna! Door Prizes! Surprise Guests! Let the kids loose for non-stop play while parents relax, visit with friends, and browse the Silent Auction!

GOAL: In 2016, we will be fundraising for Patient Amenities within the Cleft Lip and Palate program at The Hospital for Sick Children. Patient Amenities is a source of assistance for families who have limited financial resources and whose child is being cared for by SickKids. This area of funding reimburses families for expenses that are not covered or only partially covered by public health insurance and community resources. These include travel, food, accommodation, drugs, and medical equipment.
