SickKids is home to Canada's largest peadiatric oncology centre. The size and complexity of the patient population, together with specialized expertise in areas such as bone marrow transplantation, new drug trials and targeted therapies, uniquely position the Garron Family Cancer Centre as a centre of excellence in paediatric cancer research. SickKids is also home to the largest paediatric oncology training program in the country and has trained nearly 80 per cent of all practicing paediatric oncologists in Canada.

As one of the largest and busiest paediatric cancer centres in the world, the Garron Family Cancer Centre impacts the lives of hundreds of childhood cancer patients and their families each year and treats more childhood cancer patients in Canada than any other paediatric hospital. Of the approximately 1,500 Canadian children diagnosed with cancer each year, one in four will depend on the life-saving care available only at SickKids, enabled through your support.

The goal for the Fall 2016 - Spring 2017 Investor's Guide to Thriving series is to raise $20,000 to support cancer research at SickKids and Alzheimer's research at Baycrest. Larry, Jared and Company will collectively match all donations raised up to our goal.
