The TUCKER WILLIAMS BRAVER THAN BRAVE MEMORIAL FUND was created in February of 2016 to pay tribute and honour the beautiful life of our sweet and loving son and brother, Tucker Williams.  

We are fundraising for SickKids, specifically for paediatric lymphoma research, because Tucker was stolen from us after 11 months of treatment for Burkitt's Lymphoma, a rare cancer.   Tucker endured dozens of rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, blood and platelet transfusions, a bone marrow transplant, and radiation.

Tucker never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him, in fact, he worried more about the other children he saw at Sick Kids than himself.  He lived life to the fullest every day, continuing to visit and play with friends and family, even during his toughest days.  To Tucker, family and friends are more important than anything in the world.  He continues to teach us all what it means to Live More, Laugh More, and Love More.  More importantly, Tucker reminds us what is truly means to be Braver Than Brave. 

Dr. Oussama Abla, Dr. Tal, Andrea, and all of the other doctors, nurses and support staff at Sick Kids became our family during Tucker's time at Sick Kids.  They did everything in their power to save Tucker's life.  Let's help them continue what they do so that one day, another family has hope that new and improved research will save their child.
